Underwater Scene Card with No Coloring | Spellbinders August 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you this easy and quick underwater scene card that I made with the Spellbinders August Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month
I paired the new Glimmer Plates with some products from the July Card Making Kit of the Month, which are now available for purchase as Club Kit Extras, if you are interested. And by the way, check out the new Card Kit of the Month, too! It’s so cute!

I started by foiling and die cutting the flag using the products in the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit. I really love that the kit comes with coordinating dies to the plates, and the foil this month is sooo pretty!
For my card base I layered two designs from the Shellebrate 6×6″ paper pad. The front panel measures 4×5.25″ and the base is 4.25×5.5″.

I then filled in the scene with some of the Shellebrate die cuts, and adhered the flag, too. I didn’t do a perfect job with foiling, but in this case I feel that it adds to the underwater theme. Do you agree?

I coated the mother of pearl with a Spectrum Noir overlay pen and, as a finishing touch, I added some white gel pen detail to the images.
And that’s it for today! I really hope you enjoyed this card and, if you are interested, you can subscribe to the Glimmer Hot  Foil Kit of the Month at this link. And if you are on the fence, but don’t have a Glimmer Hot Foil System Machine, you can get a 10% discount by adding the machine to your card at the time of subscription!
As always, thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
