Easy Christmas Card with Colored Pencils | Studio Katia Friends of Winter

Hi everyone! Today I am here to share with you a cute Christmas card, that I created with the Studio Katia Friends of Winter stamp set! This set is currently sold out (sorry), but here is a super cute alternative . This set is in the clearance section and highly discounted at the moment. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. 😱)

Coming back to the card, I went for a very simple and clean design, but I added a couple of extra details to make it a little more special. There is also a video tutorial at the end of this post, if you are interested in watching the step by step process.

I started off the card by stamping the little elf, part of the Friends of Winter stamp set, on some pencil paper with black ink. I colored it with my ColourBlend pencils and then die cut it with the coordinating dies.

For the tag I used the Dotted Shaker Tag 1 and the Trimmings Borders dies . I added some color to the hill with Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean and for the sky I used Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch.
I created the effect of a snowfall with the Studio Katia Confetti Stencil and White Puff Embossing Powder by Wow, that I used also on the top of the hill. The powder puffs up when heat set, and it creates some really fun texture.

For my card base I used some red and white cardstock, that I die cut with the Darling Ribbon and Frames dies and the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies , respectively. I raised the tag over some foam tape and added my heat embossed sentiment on top. I also die cut a red ribbon using one of the dies from the Darling Ribbon and Frames set and I used it to decorate the top of the tag.

As a finishing touch, I added some July Crystals around the tag.
