Heat Embossing over Alcohol Marker Colored Images | Studio Katia Winter 2019 Relase Blog Hop and Giveaways!

Hi everyone and welcome to a super fun blog hop to celebrate the Studio Katia Winter 2019 Release!

For my card today I used the new Poinsettia Border stamp set and the Half Striped Cover Dies. I went for a traditional Christmas palette, with some gold heat embossing for some extra bling. There is a video at the end of this post, that will show you the step by step process for the creation of this elegant Christmas card.

The images and the sentiment I used today are all part of the Poinsettia Border stamp set. I colored my flowers using my Illustrator Markers by Spectrum Noir and for the heat embossing I used Wow! Rich Gold Metallic powder.

The base panel is some watercolor cardstock by Crafter’s Companion that I die cut with the Darling Ribbon and Frames dies. I blended my Harmony Water Reactive inks over the edges using my Studio Katia Blending Brushes for some added interest. I used Misty Morning and Baby Blue, and I also spritzed my background with some water to create a distressed look.

The black panel was die cut with the Half Striped Cover Dies and glued on the white cardstock base with some Studio Katia Glue. I adhered the Poinsettia border and the sentiment strip to my card base and added a few Gold Foil Pearls for an extra touch of gold.
