Elegant Christmas Card with Foiling | Spellbinders November Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month

Hi everyone! Today I am back with some super easy and quick Christmas inspiration with the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month for the month of November 2019.
This is a monthly subscription and, if you are interested, you can check it out here. Past kits are also still available on the Spellbinders store.

This month’s kit features a wide range of Christmas sentiments and two banner dies that you can use with them. For my project today I decided to use them with the Sparkling Holidays die cut shapes and the Sparkling Holiday paper pad.
These were included in the October 2019 Card Kit of the Month by Spellbinders, but are also available for purchase individually, as Club Kits Extras.

The card was really easy to put together. I created my base with some grey cardstock, that I trimmed to the standard US A2 size. I then layered it with one of the designs from the paper pad, that I cut to 4×5.25″. In order to create some more visual interest, I glued down a vertical strip, roughly 1.5″ wide, also obtained from one of the papers in the Sparkling Holiday paper pad.

I created a focal point using several die cut shapes from the Sparkling Holiday collection and then moved on to the sentiment. I used the one of the  Hot Foil Plates included in the Sparkling Holidays kit to foil some lilac cardstock with silver foil, also part of the kit. I die cut a banner with one of the dies in the kit and glued everything to my card base.

And that’s it for today! If you are interested in subscribing to the kit, make sure to check out this page for all the info. I really hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and I will catch you all soon with some more handmade card ideas!

Have a wonderful day!
