Handmade Christmas Table Decor | Place Holders feat ModaScrap Candy Box

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with some really easy and pretty place holders that you can use to decorate your Christmas table.
For this project I used the Candy Box die, the Forever Green 12×12” paper pad and stamps from the Forever Green and Good Cheer For Christmas sets. There is also a video tutorial for you, if you are interested in the step-by-step process.
I started by creating the boxes using the Candy Box die and the Forever Green paper pad. I used different designs, so that each box would be unique.

I then started working on the images that I used to decorate the boxes. I chose the gloves and the mistletoe from the Forever Green stamp set, as they were the perfect size to fit on the lids of my boxes. I stamped them with Memento Dew Drops in Toffee Crunch and I colored them with my Illustrator markers.
I made sure to chose colors that matched nicely with the palette of the Forever Green paper pad. Once I was done coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

To create the panel where the names of the guests will go, I used one of the stamps in the Good Cheer for Christmas set. Also in this case I did my stamping with Memento ink in Toffee Crunch and for the coloring I used my Illustrator markers.

I then created some thin banners from one of the designs in the Forever Green paper pad and I stamped the greeting Merry Christmas from the Good Cheer for Christmas stamp set with Memento ink in Toffee Crunch.
I finished off each place holder by gluing some gold crystals for some extra shine.
Here’s another look at these cute boxes! I love them!
