Spellbinders/FSJ Kindness Matters Kit and January 2020 Release Inspiration

Hi everyone! Today I am absolutely thrilled to share some inspiration with the new Spellbinders/FSJ release! The new products are really amazing and I had a blast creating with them – I have three cards and a video tutorial for you today!
The first two cards were created with the Kindness Matters Kit – this kit includes three rubber stamps, one stencil and four pre-kitted cards, so that you can get creative right away! The stamps and the stencil are also available to be purchased individually, but the kit is really great value!

For my first card I used the Kindness is Cool stamp set and the Cascading Hearts Die (not included in the kit). I blended my FSJ inks in the color Bubble Gum and Watermelon Fusion over the die cut front panel.

I then created a background where I blended my FSJ ink in the color Cool Pool and  did a little bit of tone on tone stamping with the large heart in the Kindness is Cool stamp set. This created a subtle patterned paper effect.

I stamped and colored the Koala Bear and the Heart in the Kindness is Cool stamp set and raised them over my background with some foam squares.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder over some black cardstock and that finished off my first card.

For my second card I used the Sweet Birthday Wishes and Folk Blossom Stamps from the Kindness Matters Kit. I stamped and colored the birthday cake and assembled it using some liquid glue.
For the card base, I did some dry embossing using the fun Birthday Bash embossing folder. This adds texture and detail, without taking too much attention away from the main elements of the card.

I then created the focal panel by doing some ombrΓ© stamping with the Folk Blossom stamp and my FSJ inks. I used the colors Summer Days and Lemon Drop and after that I die cut the panel with the Nested Guilded Rectangle dies.

I raised the cake with some foam squares and then created a sentiment banner out of white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment Let’s Celebrate from the Sweet Birthday wishes stamp set with FSJ Cranberry Bliss ink and glued that to my card using again some foam squares.

My third and final card for today features the oh, so cute Baby Farm Animals stamp set. This is again a set of foam mounted rubber stamps and I love it!. It is not included in the Kit, but part of the January Release by Spellbinders/FSJ. Coordinating dies are also available for this set.
I could not stay away from creating a scene card with this set, and I did it with the help of the Garden Fence die. It was the perfect complement to my images and I can see myself using it quite a bit in the coming Spring season! I die cut the  fence from some smooth white cardstock and blended Lemon Drop and Summer Days inks on top, creating a gradient effect.

For the card background I die cut some more white cardstock with the rectangle die in the Cascading Hearts set. I blended Turbo Teal in the sky area and Sweet Pear where I wanted my grass to be. I added some sparkly droplets using Sparkle Silk – so pretty!

I colored the images from the Baby Farm Animals set with Illustrator markers and arranged them on my card base. I stamped the sentiment Enjoy the Little Things (so precious) and that finished off my third card for today.

If you are interested, here is a video tutorial for you, showing how I created these three cards with the products from the Spellbinders/FSJ Kindness Matters Kit and January 2020 Release. Don’t forget to let me know which card is your favorite!
