Shell-ebration Card plus Tag Set feat Studio Katia

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with a mini set composed of a card and a coordinating tag I created for the Studio Katia blog using the Shell-ebration Stamp Set.
For the background of both the card and the tag I used stencils, Nuvo Glimmer Paste (Moonstone) and Distress Oxides (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch). I blended the inks on some smooth cardstock, used a baby wipe to lift off some of the pigment through the stencils, and then applied the Glimmer Paste with a spatula. For the card I used the Bubbles stencil, and for the tag I used the Brush Stroke Waves Stencil.
I then stamped the turtle from the Shell-ebration stamp set and some of the smaller images from the Under the Sea stamp set, colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers and cut them with the coordinating dies. I also created a reference chart for your convenience where I listed all the markers I used.

Both the card and the tag have a window structure. For the card I created the front of the window using the Dotted Patterns Darling Ribbon Creative Dies,

and for the tag I used the Dotted Shaker Tag 2 Creative Dies.

I glued some of the images directly on the background and some on the window panels, that I coated with acetate. The sentiments come from the Shell-ebration stamp set and are heat embossed over white cardstock. To embellish my projects even more I used Majestic Confetti and Nuvo Jewel Drops.
