Hi everyone! Today is another very special day, as the new C.C. Designs release is finally out! And, as always, is full of super adorable stamps! Whohooo! Make sure you join the C.C. Designs Facebook group – there is a Party at every new release, full of fun games and giveaways!
To celebrate this great release, I created a card with the new Roberto’s Rascals It’s a Roberto’s Christmas – sooo cute! I am absolutely in love with this little guy! 💖
As a first step I stampet the image on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Ink, and I colored it with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers. I then fussy cut the images with my EK Success Cutterbee Scissors.
For the background of my card I used different patterned papers from the Holiday 6×6″ paper pad by American Crafts. I used the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames Dies to cut the red backgound and the green strip, which I also trimmed down with my Guillotine Trimmer. For the rounded rectangle I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.
For the sentiment I did some heat embossing with white embossing powder, and I then used one of the dies in the new C.C. Designs Quad Collage Die to cut a banner around it.
I glued all my elements to a white, top-folding A2 card base, raising the rectangular panel and the sentiment strip over one layer of foam tape. For some finishing touches I added white highlight to the kid’s image and some sparkle to the Christmas baubles with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen.
I filled in the heart on the sentiment with my white Jelly Roll pen, and coated that and the bauble that the kid is holding with Nuvo Drops in Strawberry Coulis.
