Winter Scene feat MFT Warm and Feathered Hugs + GIVEAWAY!

The stamp set I used today is the new Warm and Feathered Hugs set, designed by the amazing Stacey Yacula! It was one of my favorite sets from the amazing November release, and I just had to use this one on today’s project!
The owls are stamped in My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. For the trees I did some stamping with Distress Oxide in Pumice Stone. All the images are die cut with the coordinating dies.
I have also prepared a color chart for your reference, where I listed all the markers I used.

For the background I cut some Bristol Smooth cardstock using the scalloped rectangle die in the Blueprints 27 Die-Namics, and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides and my Ranger Blending Brushes. I used Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire.
Once my inks were completely dry I heat embossed the snowflakes in the Warm and Feathered Hugs stamp set with white embossing powder. I also used a white Gelly Roll Pen to add more falling snow.

To create my hills I die cut some more Bristol Smooth cardstock with the same scalloped rectangle die from the Blueprints 27 Die-Namics as well as the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. I did some more ink blending with Distress Oxides and the Ranger Blending Brushes. For a cool, frosty look I used Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Warm and Feathered Hugs set on green cardstock, and I die cut a banner around it with another die from the Blueprints 27 Die-Namics – such a versatile set!
