Hi everyone! Today I am back to share some inspiration for a masculine card featuring stamps by C.C. Designs. It is not always easy to create cards for guys, especially teenagers, but the stamps in the Rocker Boys set are definitely a good point to start from! And if you would like to get yourself this adorable set you can use the code LAURV90 for 5% off your purchase on the C.C. Designs Store.
For this card I decided to color the images with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Black Ink and took my time with the coloring, which is one of the parts of cardmaking I enjoy the most.
I then fussy cut them with my EK Success Scissors, and moved on to the card base.
I cut some Bristol Smooth cardstock using the Tonic Studios Layering Circles and did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Candied Apple and Fired Brick. I spritzed the panel with water and then added some texture with the Create a Smile Focal Point Stencil and Ranger Texture Paste.
I matted the panel with some black cardstock, that I die cut with another die from the Tonic Studios Layering Circles set.
For the sentiment I did some heat embossing with white embossing powder over black cardstock, and use the Heffy Doodle Strips of Ease to die cut a banner around it.
And that’s it for today! I hope you guys liked this post and enjoyed the inspiration for masculine cards that I shared today!
Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
