Holiday Card feat SugarPea Designs

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a cute and easy holiday card I created for the SugarPea designs Mix it Up challenge. I embraced the Anything Goes part of the challenge, and took the opportunity to use the adorable GingerSnaps stamp set.

I started by stamping my images on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the base of my card I cut some Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the Card Front Element Builder and the Zig Zag Stitched Circles. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides in Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio. I also did some blending with Broken China, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire on a separate panel, which I glued to the back of my card front.

I glued the images to the card, and heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder by WOW!. I also added some Nuvo Drops around it and then went crazy with the embellishments. I added sparkle with my Clear Overlay Pen over all the sugar/glazing areas, as well as the candies and the wreath. I also covered those areas with Glossy Accents and left them to dry overnight.

I mounted everything on a top-folding A2 card base and that finished off my card.
And that’s it for today! Don’t forget that you can enter your projects to the Mix it Up Challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs Store!
We look forward to seeing your entries!

Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
