Monochromatic Handmade Card for a Girl feat C.C. Designs Unicorns

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with a monochromatic card I created with the C.C. Designs Unicorns. I really love this set, I cannot stop creating with it!

As a first step I stamped my unicorn on Canson XL watercolor cardstock with Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Ink and colored it with my Derwent Inktense Pencils. I then die cut it with the coordinating dies

For the card background I cut some Fabriano Bristol Smooth Cardstock with an A2 stitched rectangle die. I then used the Girl Doodle stencil and Distress Ink in Spun Sugar to create a pattern on the panel.

I cut one of the papers in the Hearts and Dots paper pad with the same stitched rectangle die and trimmed it at an angle, before gluing it to the stenciled background. I stamped the sentiment with the same Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Black ink using my Mini MISTI.

I added some detail with Nuvo Dream Drops in the color Fairy Wings and some sparkle with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you enjoyed this easy monochromatic card for a girl featuring the cute C.C. Designs Unicorns. Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
