Easy Birthday Card for a Boy feat SugarPea Designs Hey Honey

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a cute birthday card and a video tutorial showing how to create it!
The stamp set I used is the Hey, Honey stamp set – such an adorable set with that cute bear and the bees! I love it!

To start off the card I die cut a rectangle out of some yellow cardstock using one of the dies in the Card Front Element Builder II set. I then used the Honeycomb Cover Plate die to cut some light brown cardstock.
To create another element for the background, I die cut a tag out some Bristol Smooth Cardstock with another die from the Card Front Element Builder II set. I then added color and shading to the tag by blending Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.
I then stamped my images on Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. Once the coloring was done, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

I assembled everything on a top-folding A2 card base, raising the bear, the beehive and one of the bees on some foam tape. To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen details to the bear’s cheeks and some Glossy Accents to its nose.
