Hi everyone! Today I am back with a quick and easy summer card, featuring the LDRS Creative Ice Cream Party stamp set. I love summer and ice cream, so I had to use this fun stamp set for my card today!
There is also a video tutorial at the end of this post. Make sure to check it out if you want to see the card making process in more detail.
I started by cutting one of the papers in the LDRS Creative Sweet Sensations 6×6 paper pad to 4.25 by 5.5″. This pad is full of fun and colorful details, and was perfect for today’s card!
I then used the Eylet Lace Rectangle die, also by LDRS creative, to cut a rectangular frame out of white cardstock. The frame is so pretty, and is prefect to dress up the simple design of my card, and bring it up a notch.
I backed the window inside the white lacey frame with a smaller rectangle, that I cut out of a second design in the LDRS Creative Sweet Sensations 6×6 paper pad.
I then moved on and started working on my images. These all come from the LDRS Creative Ice Cream Party stamp set. I stamped them with LDRS Creative Raven Hybrid Ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.

Laura this is fabulous. Like the colours you've used & admire how smooth your colour blending is on the ice cream. Awesome card , thank you for sharing your inspiration x
I particularly like the coloration you used on the "hello friend" card, as well as the heat embossing done on the mermaid card. Nice job!
