Emboss Resist Watercolor with Distress Inks | Studio Katia Floral Garden

Hi everyone! Today I am back with an elegant card I created with the new Studio Katia Floral Garden set and the emboss resist watercolor technique. This set is part of the latest Studio Katia release – if you haven’t checked it out yet, you can have a look at it here. It’s truly fabulous!

To start off the card I heat embossed the Floral Garden image with gold embossing powder by WOW!. I then painted the images with Distress Inks. To see the painting process in more detail, make sure to watch the video at the end of this post.

Once my painting was ready and completely dry, I die cut it with the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies. I then layered it over some dark grey cardstock, that I had die cut with the Darling Ribbon & Frames Dies.

For the sentiment I used greetings in the Kind Bouquet stamp set. The cardstock I used is the same gray that I have on the card base, and I heat embossed the word kindness in gold, and the word matters in white.

I glued everything to my card base, and added some Sparkling Crystals as a finishing touch.
And here you can see all the shine around these gorgeous florals!

As I mentioned, I uploaded a video tutorial for you, showing how I created this elegant card using the Studio Katia Floral Garden stamp set. And don’t forget to subscribe for more cardmaking inspiration!

I know this post isn't related to the hope, but where would I find your comment winner for the Studio Katia Birthday hop? I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks again for all you do, I love your art!
