Hi everyone! Today I am back with a fall card and a video tutorial showing how to color skin and hair with alcohol markers.
Although summer is my favorite season, I started enjoying the coziness of autumn in the past few years. Chunky sweaters, hot drinks, movie nights all snuggled up on the sofa…and with the temperatures getting cooler where I live and a few more rainy days, I have to admit that I feel more and more in the mood for autumn…and for autumn cards!
Here’s why for my August post for LDRS Creative I was inspired to create this card with the gorgeous Winds Are Blowing stamp set. This is part of a series of season inspired stamps – I created a summer card last month with another set in the series, you can check it out here if you missed it.
The card design is pretty simple: I did some masked stamping and ink blending and most of the time was dedicated to coloring this beautiful girl. I took my time and I have to say that I really enjoyed the process.
The focal panel was die cut with the Scalloped Rectangle Frames by LDRS creative, and on the base panel I did some tone on tone ink blending and stamping with the LDRS Creative Iced Tea Hybrid Ink and one more stamp from the Winds Are Blowing stamp set.
All the details of the card making process are discussed in the video tutorial that you can find down below. Don’t forget to let me know what you thought about it, and if you are already in the mood for cozy sweaters and pumpkin spiced latte!
Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
