Hi everyone! Today I am back with two Christmas cards, created by combining products from the latest ModaScrap release with some previously released stamp sets. I said it many times: I love mixing products, and it is always fun when new relases can be easily combined with items we already have in our stash.
The two cards I am showing today share the same design and mostly the same products, and I personally think they are really fun! The papers I used are part of the new Forever Green 6×6” paper pad. I used the Dashing Rectangles to die cut the focal panels, that I then decorated with the Snowflake Stencil and my Gelly. I used the Gold Gelly on one card and the Silver Gelly on the other, for some variation (and also because I couldn’t resist trying them both!).
The wreaths were created with the new, beautiful Mistletoe Wreath Die. For each wreath I layered three die cuts, after brushing them with my Fluffy in Evergreen and Apple Green. I also created the little bows at the top of the wreaths using another die in the Mistletoe Wreath set. To add color and sparkle to the bows, I brushed them with my Fluffy in Red Berry. I adhered the wreaths on circular panels that I obtained by die cutting designs in the Forever Green collection with the Dashing Circles dies.
The images I used are part of the Time to Celebrate and Charriot of Joy sets. These are products from previous releases, and I thought they would be perfect to add a fun touch to my cards today! I stamped them on smooth white cardstock and colored them with my Illustrator markers. I die cut the Gnome with the ribbon on his hat with the Time to Celebrate dies. I fussy cut the other, as there are no coordinating dies for the Charriot of Joy set.
For my sentiments, I used the smallest die in the Hanging Tags set and some more designs in the Forever Green collection. I then stamped two different greetings on the tag, both part of the Forever Green stamp set.
I created the background panels by cutting the two wood grain designs in the Forever Green collection to 4 ¼” by 5 ½“ and glued everything to my white card bases. I used some foam tape behing the gnomes, to raise them to the same level of the wreaths.
