Hi everyone! Today I am back with an easy snow globe card created with the Snow Globe Dies and the Gnome for Christmas stamp set!
Before sharing more about the card, I wanted to let you know that SugarPea Designs is having a Black Friday sale, with 25% off store wide using code BFTHANKS! This sale includes sale items, which makes this is a great time to grab those items on your wishlist before theyβre gone!!
As for the card, I started off by creating the card front out of some white cardstock. I die cut it to an A2 size with the Card Front Element Builder 2 dies and used the Snow Globe die to cut an opening on its upper portion. I then backed the window with some acetate.
For the base of the globe I used another die in the Snow Globe set and cut one of the papers in the Happy Camper paper pad. I added some shading to the die cut with my alcohol markers and then moved on and created my sky background.
For that I did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I added a snowfall effect with some white acrylic paint.
I then stamped and colored some of the images in the Gnome for Christmas stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I finished off the card by stamping my sentiment on the lower portion of my card.
