Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card I made as a guest designer for Waffle Flower Crafts! Yay!
The card features the new Harpy Birthday stamp set, designed by Big Bear and Bird. Isn’t he cute?!
If you are interested in checking out the new Waffle Flower release, you can do it here. It’s a beautiful one!
Make sure to read this post until the end, as I also have a video for you, showing the card making process and part of the coloring real time, as this was requested to me on YouTube.
The images and the sentiment are all part of the Harpy Birthday stamp set and were colored with Illustrator markers. Once I was done coloring them, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.
For the background I used Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn. I blended them with some blending brushes and then added some droplets for a fun touch.
I created a patterned paper effect on the base of my card by stamping the musical notes in a random fashion and I stamped the sentiment on my Distress Oxide Background.
I outlined it with a white gel pen to make it stand out a little. I glued some music notes around it and that finished off my card.
As promised, here is the video tutorial for this fun “just because” card featuring the new Waffle Flower Harpy Birthday stamp set! You can watch it down below or directly on my YouTube channel!
I hope you like it!
