Hi everyone! Today I am back with a frameless vellum shaker card and a video sharing how to make it! The card was inspired by my friend Ilda, from I Love Doing All Things Crafty, who recently made some really cute frameless shakers with acetate instead of vellum.
For the card background I did some ink blending on an A2 panel of watercolor cardstock. I used Spectrum Noir Harmony Inks in the colors Fuchsia, Winter Rose and Plum Jam and my Studio Katia Blending Brushes (SK | EH). I also added a stenciled pattern with the Heart-fetti stencil (SK | EH) and my Midas gold pigment ink.
The images I used today are part of the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set (SK | EH) and were colored with Illustrator markers. Once I was done coloring, I die cut them with the coordinating dies (SK | EH).
For the sentiment I used one of the stamps from the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set and stamped the greeting all my on a strip of gray cardstock. I used again Midas gold pigment ink and I also blended the same ink on my die cut word love. This was obtained with one of the dies in the Spring Bouquet (SK | EH) die set.
For some finishing touches I used a white gel pen, a Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen and my Glossy Accents.
