Hi everyone! Today I am back with a super clean and simple card that I created with the Spellbinders April Stamp of the Month.
I recently shared an Easter card I created following some designing tips that Cathy Zielske taught in one of her videos, and I decided to use the same concepts for today’s card.
I decided to go with a design where I have two larger panels on the card background and my focal point centered with respect to them.
The bottom panel is some Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock, trimmed to 4.25×5.5 inches.
The middle panel is again some Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock, this time trimmed to 3.75×5 inches. I created a DIY patterned paper effect on this panel using stamps in the Stamp of the Month set and FSJ Bubblegum ink.
For the focal point I used the frame and the sentiment in the Stamp of the Month Set. I stamped them with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Proof black ink on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored them with Illustrator markers. I used PP5, PP3, PP1 on the letters and IG9, IG7, IG4 on the frame. I also raised it with some foam tape for extra interest.
I then completed the design with a heat embossed sentiment (taken from last month’s Stamp of the Month) and some clear and iridescent pink sequins.
And that’s my card for today! I really hope you liked it and remember that if you are interested, you can still get this set as part of the Stamp of the Month subscription.
I also wanted to let you know about a huge Spring Cleaning Sale going on at Spellbinders right now! There are some really great deals, including die cutting machines!
Thank you all for stopping by, stay healthy and have a nice day!
