Summer 2018 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop feat Studio Katia

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card I made for Studio Katia as part of the 2018 Spring + Summer Coffee Lovers blog hop! Studio Katia is one of the sponsors and is kindly donating two 25$ gift certificates to the store.

For my card today I used a bunch of different Studio Katia products.

For the background I cut some watercolor cardstock to a A2 size using the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames Creative dies. I added Distress Oxide in Antique Linen to the whole background and sponged the edges with Vintage Photo. I created some coffee stains with Vintage Photo and the Brush Strokes clear stamp set to add some fun, coffee-themed detail.

I used the Dotted Shaker Tag 1 Creative Dies to create the tag on my card front out of watercolor cardstock. I combined it with the Simple Dotted Borders to create the sand dune, and with the Dotted Patterns Scalloped Squares to create the sea.

I used Distress Oxides to add color to the scene elements. For the sky I used Spiced Marmelade and Worn Lipstick, for the sea Peacock Feathers, and for the sand Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.

All the images in the scene are colored with Copics and Spectrum Noir Markers and cut with the coordinating dies. The image with Kobi is from the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set, the coffee cup is from the Sweet Latte stamp set, the sun glasses come from the Foxes stamp set, and the boat and the clouds are included in the amazing Whimsical Town stamp set.
The sentiment, part of the Sweet Latte stamp set, is stamped with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and embossed with clear embossing powder.
Finally, to add some fun dimension to this card, I used some foam squares to adhere the tag to my card front.
And that’s my card for today! Don’t forget to participate in the hop for your chance to win one of the two 25$ gift certificates to the Studio Katia store! You will find all the info on the Coffee Lovers blog!
Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
