Twinchies Set feat CC Designs and Nuvo Shimmer Powders

Hi everyone! Today I am back with post and a video showing you how I created a cute set of four Twinchies for the challenge on the CC Designs Facebook Group!

Twinchies are simply mini cards sized at 2×2”. It was the first time for me making them, and they are super fun and quick to make. They would be great as a quick thinking about you project or to accompany a small size present. They also just look great as a decoration for your crafty space!
For these ones I created some fun backgrounds with my new Nuvo Shimmer Powders, and I am in love with the texture and the shimmer I obtained!

I have two sets of backgrounds: for two of them I used Solar Flare and Cherry Bomb, and for the other two I used Blue Blitz and Violet Brocade. I sprinkled the powders on some Windsor and Newton Cotman Watercolor cardstock, spritzed it with water, and left it to dry.

The images I used today are from the CC Designs Roberto’s Rascals Viking Kids set. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.

In the graphics below you will find a list of all the markers I used, I also show the coloring for one of the kids in the video tutorial I created for this project. This color chart is a new feature on my blog, and it was inspired by what I saw on Koren Wiskman‘s and Mindy Eggen’s blogs. Let me know what you think about it and if you’d like me to keep making charts like this one 🙂

I used the smallest die in the Reverse Confetti Scalloped Squares Set to die cut my backgrounds and then I moved on and created the card bases. I obtained them out of white heavyweight cardstock and stamped the sentiments on the inside. I picked two of the sentiments in the Heffy Doodle Interactively Yours stamp set. I stamped one with Memento Dew Drops in Danube Blue on the inside of the Twinchies with the blue/purple background,

and the other with Memento Dew Drops in Rose Buds on the inside of the Twinchies with the pink/yellow background.

I adhered the background and the images on the card bases and my twichies are done! Aren’t they adorable?!

I also created a video tutorial for this project, you can click here to watch it on my YouTube channel!

And that’s it for today! I really hope you guys enjoyed this post and liked my mini cards! I will be back soon with another fun project, and, in the meantime, I wish you all a great day!

I’m impressed, I need to say. Actually not often do I encounter a weblog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you have got hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the difficulty is something that not enough individuals are talking intelligently about. I am very completely happy that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing referring to this. play casino
