CC Designs Release Preview – Day 1

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card I created for Day 1 of the C.C. Designs August 2018 Release Preview! Whohooo! This is my first month as part of the C.C. Designs Design Team and I am super excited to show you the cards I created with their adorable products!

So, let’s start with this one, featuring the super adorable Circus stamp set, that the DT is showcasing today. To start off I stamped the elephant and the stand with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Bristol Vellum cardstock by Strathmore and I colored them with Prismacolor Pencils. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies, and started working on my background.

In order to create interest on the card base I cut some patterned paper by Lawn Fawn using first the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die and then the My Favorite Things Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-Namics. For the flag banner I used paper by My Favorite Things and a die by Impronte d’Autore. I glued the papers on a black base that I cut using the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames Dies.

To finish off the card I heat embossed the sentiment from the C.C. Designs Circus stamp set with white embossing powder, popped up the focal panel with foam tape, and added a few enamel dots from the C.C. Designs Dragon Dreams Enamel Dots.
