Hi everyone! Today I am back with my inspiration card for the current Mix it Up challenge on the SugarPea Designs blog!
I really love both the color palette and the sketch for this month, and they ispired me to create a cozy winter card with the Mugs and Kisses Stamp set.
As a first step I stamped my images with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I followed the sketch pretty closely, and die cut some colored carstock using dies from the Card Front Element Builder set, the Heart Journal Card set and the Stitched Flags set. To create more interest on my background panel I repeatedly stamped the doughnut in the Mugs and Kisses set with white pigment ink.
I stamped the sentiment with black ink and mounted everything flat on a top folding A2 card base.
