Tall Card with Bright Colors feat C.C. Designs Hello Goodbye

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a super fun card I created with the C.C. Designs Hello Goodbye stamp set. I really love this line of stamps, the illustrations are so unique and I like their quirky style!
Before we proceed with the post, I wanted to let you know that there is a sale going on on the C.C. Designs store, and you can purchase coordinating dies for 65% off their regular price! You can also use code LAURV90 for 5% off your order!

As a first step I started working on my backgrounds, for which I used Rangle Alcohol Inks on Yupo Paper. For the blue background I used Aquamarine and Cloud Blue, for the green one Pistachio and Lime, and for the pink one I used Flamingo and Pink sherbet.

While the backgrounds where aside to dry, I stamped the images from the Hello Goddbye stamp set with Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Black Ink and colored them with Copics.  I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For my card base I cut some heavyweight white cardstock to 21 x 19.8 cm and scored it at 9.9 cm. I created a DIY stencil by die cutting some acetate with the C.C. Designs Cloud and Grass dies, and blended Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass with one of my Ranger Blending Brushes to create a subtle cloudy sky.

For the scalloped frames I die cut some white cardstock with the C.C. Designs In & Out Rectangle dies. I glued everything to my card base and moved on to the finishing touches.

I glued some Studio Katia Shimmering Ice Fusions sequins to the sky to bring some subtle sparkle to those areas. I coated the eyes of the critters and the balloons with glossy accents and added just a few highlights with a white Jelly Roll pen.

And that’s my card for today! I really hope you guys like it,  I especially enjoy these taller formats, as you get plenty of space for your images!
Don’t forget that coordinating dies are 65% off their retail price right now on the C.C. Designs store and that you can also use code LAURV90 for 5% extra off your purchase! I thank you all very much for stopping by and wish you a great day!
