Clean and Simple Card | SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a fast, clean and simple card I created for the SugarPea Designs Mix it Up challenge! You can play along for a chance to win a gift certificate to the SugarPea Designs  store – for more details make sure to visit the SugarPea Designs blog
I was inspired by the sketch for this challenge, and I decided to turn it around and to use circles instead of hexagons.
I created a little scene using the TreeScape dies, by SugarPea Designs. This cut out a hill, which I inked up with Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.
For the sky I used Tumbled Glass and a tiny touch of Salty Ocean.

The stamp set I used today is the Strike up the Band stamp set, by SugarPea Designs. I stamped it with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink and colored it with Spectrum Noir makers. I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut it with the coordinating dies.

I die cut the circles for my design from some vellum with the SugarPea Designs Zig Zag Stitched Circles and added some shimmer to them with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen.
I then stamped the sentiment on my card base, which was die cut from white cardstock with the Card Front Element Builder II dies, and assembled my card.

And that’s it for today! Make sure to check out how to play with us in the Mix it Up challenge – we look forward to seeing what you create!
