Easy Christmas Card with Patterned Paper | SugarPea Designs Merry Makers

Hi everyone! Today I am back with another cute Christmas card with products by SugarPea Designs and a video tutorial for you guys!

I started by die cutting some watercolor cardstock with the Heart Journal Card dies and blending my Distress Oxides over the panel. I used Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bow and Pine Needles and I also added some water droplets to create a more interesting look.

The image I used today is part of the Merry Makers stamp set. I stamped it on some Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored it with my Illustrator markers. I then die cut it with the Merry Makers dies.

For my card background I used papers from the Spots & Stripes Bright pad. I added a stitched detail to the base panel with the Card Front Element Builder dies and die cut the other with the Postage Stamps dies.

Next, I heat embossed my greeting from the Oh, So Jolly Sentiments set with white embossing powder. I added some bakerโ€™s twine around the ink blended panel and adhered it over the card background with some foam tape. I used foam tape to glue down my elf, too.

I embellished the card with some die cut snowflakes from the Snowflake Tag die and added some shimmer to the ribbon on the present with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen.
