Funny Christmas Card with Impronte d’Autore

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a super fun Christmas card, which is also pretty quick and easy to make. I love making cards for Christmas as they remind me of the wonderful time I had with my family as a kid…such sweet memories!
And because I love pretty much every single Christmas stamp by Impronte d’Autore (one day I will have them all), today I decided to share with you this super fun card, created with the Oops rubber stamp!
Let’s have a look at how I made it…
I started by stamping the image on some smooth white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored it with my Nuvo markers. I then cut it out, leaving a small white border to mimick the effect of dies.
For the background I die cut some watercolor cardstock with one of the dies in the set Cornici. I then blended Distress Inks in Mustard Seed and Wild Honey, starting from the center and leaving the outer areas lighter.

I then picked on the the papers in the Doodlebug Flea Market 6×6″ paper pad and I die cut it with the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables.  I darkened its edges with  Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso and I glued everything to my card base.

I embossed the sentiment Merry Christmas with white embossing powder, using stamps from theLawn Fawn Ho-Ho-Holidays  set.

As a finishing touch, I added some highlights with a white gel pen and some glitter with a Clear Overlay Pen and some Ranger Stickles.

There is no Christmas card without glitter, right?! πŸ˜‰

And that’s it for today! I really hope you liked this fun Christmas card and that you found the tutorial useful!
Let me know in the comments below if you have already started on your Christmas cards – no matter how early I do, it seems I never have enough!
Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
