Create Your Own Patterned Paper feat CDD Live, Love, Plan Stamp Set

Hello everyone! Today I am back with a card I made using the Craftin Desert Divas Live, Love, Plan stamp set, which is part of the August 2017 release, and will be available in the Craftin Desert Divas shop starting August 9th, 12PM EST. 

Because this set has so many pretty accompanying images, I thought it would be fun stamp them in a random pattern on my background, so that I would create my own patterned paper. I used Canson XL watercolor cardstock and some inexpensive watercolors that I got from a local store to paint in all the images. I also stamped the little troll sitting at the desk, the worm troll and the “Make It Happen” sentiment on a separate piece of Canson XL watercolor cardstock. I painted the images using the same colors that I used for the background so that everything would tie in nicely.

I then used dies from the Craftin Desert Divas Crazy Stitched Frames to cut my background and the front panel, and some of the dies from the Craftin Desert Divas Mini Shaker Clips dies to cut the little heart, the star and the banner from some pink cardstock. I used some aqua cardstock for my card base and to create a frame around my front panel, and I adhered everything in place using some liquid glue.
