Winter Shaker Card with Midas Metallic Inks | Studio Katia Merry Poinsettia and Holiday Village

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am back with a Winter shaker card featuring the Ponsettia Border  and the Holiday Village  stamp set. At the end of this post, you will also find a video tutorial, showing how I made it.

For the window of my shaker I used the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames Dies. I also used the Simple Dotted  Borders on the cardstock panel that I die cut out of the center to create a hill.

I blended Spectrum Noir Silver Midas ink on the hill and I used Rose Gold and Pink Lace on the shaker background. These are metallic pigment inks that will add a shiny finish to my card.
To fill up my shaker I used a mix of Studio Katia embellishments: I used Frost Glitter, Sparkle Glitter, Silver Polka SequinsCrystal Clear Confetti and Majestic Confetti.
As I mentioned, the images I used are from the Poinsettia Border and Holiday Village stamp sets. I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For my sentiment I used the banner die in the Darling Ribbon&Frames dies. I stamped one of the greetings in the Holiday Village stamp set with Silver  Midas ink and blended the edges with Pink Lace Midas Ink.

Don’t forget to check out the video tutorial, if you are interested in the step by step process for this winter shaker card!

Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
