Hi everyone! The new Spellbinders/FSJ Stamp of the Month Kit was released on February 1st and today I am back to share a clean and simple encouragement card I made with this month’s stamp set!
If you are not familiar with it, the Stamp of the Month Kit is a monthly subscription kit you can get on the Spellbinders store. Every month you will receive a new mounted rubber stamp sets at a great price point. You can also skip months, if you like, and kit subscribers enjoy a number of benefits, including a site-wide discount at Spellbinders. If you are interested, you can find more details on Club Kit Subscriptions here.
For my card today I went for a clean and simple look.
I started by die cutting some Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the rectangle dies in the Cascading Hearts and Lucky Clouds die sets. This left me with two panels, one slightly larger than the other.
I then created a focal area on the smaller rectangle using the stitched die in the Circle Around die set by FSJ. It is not so visible in the pictures but I thin it looks really neat in real life!
Next, I stamped my images with Premium Hybrid Black ink by Scrapbook.com on some more Bristol Smooth Cardstock, using my MISTI. I colored them with Arteza Brush Markers and cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock with Gold Midas Ink by Spectrum Noir, that I also blended on the edges of my background panel.
I finished off the card by gluing some Gold Foil confetti and mounting everything on a top folding A2 card base.
