Hi everyone! Today I am back to share a super cute slim line card featuring products from the latest LDRS Creative release! The whole scene was created with Illustrator markers, and in the video at the end of this post I will share the whole card making process with you guys!
BACKGROUND
As I mentioned, the whole scene was created with Illustrator markers. I started by die cutting some Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with the rectangle die in the Slim Line Scallop set by LDRS creative [LDRS | SBC] – I am absolutely in love with this die and I am sure I will be using it a lot!
I used two stamps in the Up the Rabbit Hole stamp set [LDRS | SBC] to stamp the sunset scene with LDRS Creative Raven black ink and I started coloring.
Here are the markers I used on the background
Sky: BT3, BT1, HB1, PP3, PP2, GY2, GY1, LY1
Grass: LG5, LG3, LG3, LG2, LG1
Tree: LG5, LG3, LG1
Sun: OR3, OR2, BO1, CT4, GY2
Fence: TN9, TN5, TN3
IMAGES
The images I used are from the Strawberry Patch stamp set [LDRS|SBC] – so cute and sweet! Also in this case I did my stamping with Raven ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and used Illustrator markers for the coloring. Here is the list:
Bears: TN4, TN2, FS7
Bears Noses: EB8, EB4
Mice: BG5, BG3, BG1
Bear and Mice Inner Ear: FS5, FS8
Leaves: LG5, LG3, LG1
Flowers: CR2
Strawberries: CR11, CR8, CR5, CR2
Once I was done coloring, I die cut all the images with the Strawberry Patch dies [LDRS | SBC].
SENTIMENT AND FINISHING TOUCHES
I created the sentiment for my card by die cutting some black cardstock with the Thinking of You die by LDRS Creative [LDRS | SBC]. I also used dies in the Slim Line Scallop set to create a white frame for my scene. I adhered everything in place and added some details to the cheeks of the characters with a white gel pen. I also used a black Sakura Glaze pen to coat the eyes of the critters and the seeds of the strawberries.
