Hi everyone and happy Saturday! Today I am back with a card and a video I made as part of the Papercrafters United Against Racism Video Hop. This hop was created by Justine Hovey and joined by so many talented crafters, who felt the desire to show their support to the fight for equality.
If you want to know more about the hop, the participants and how you can help, make sure to visit Justine’s blog
For this special occasion, I decided to make a friendship card with a message of unity and support. I chose the Waffle Flower Group Hug stamp set as my focal image, and I colored it with Illustrator alcohol markers.
Here is the list of markers I used
Giraffe Body: GB6, GB3, GB1
Giraffe Spots: GB11, GB9, GB5
Giraffe and Ram Muzzle: FS4 , FS8, FS6
Central Bear: RB4, RB3, RB2, RB1
Side Bear + Dog: TN9, TN7, TN5, TN3
Bird: BT7, IB3, IB1
Ram Horn and Raccoon Body: BG7, BG5, BG3
Racoon Muzzle, Ram’s Wool and Bunny: BG3, BG1
The image was stamped directly on a Neenah Solar White Card Front using Scrapbook.com Hybrid Ink. Once I was done coloring, I die cut the panel with the Waffle Flower A2 Layers and with the Concord and 9th Peek Through Patterns. I used the latter also to cut some more white cardstock, that I glued on top of my design.
I created a subtle pattern on the background using the Scrapbook.com Little Clouds Stencil, Mint to Be ink by Catherine Pooler Ink and Ranger Crystal Stickles in the color Moondust.
I completed my greeting with the sentiment we are invincible together from the MFT Magical Friends stamp set.
And here is the video tutorial for you! Don’t forget to hop along and support fellow crafters who decided to join this wonderful hop! You never know when you’re going to find your next favorite YouTuber! π
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!
The items marked with a * were sent to me for free for designing purposes. When possible, affiliated links are used at no cost to you. Thank you for your support! π
