Quick SLIMLINE Winter Card with PUFFY SNOW! Clean and Simple Cardmaking

Slimline cards are all the rage these days, but they can take up more time to create than the traditional A2 size. Well, they don’t have to!

Today I am going to share with you how to make a cute and quick winter slimline card and how to add a touch of fun to it with some puffy snow! Stay tuned for a video at the end of this post!

The stamp set I used for this card is the adorable Happy Snowmen I love this set so much and I couldn’t wait to finally be able to play with it! I stamped the images with Spectrum Noir Flagstone Ink and colored them with Illustrator alcohol markers. Here is a list of the colors I used

  • Snowmen: TB1
  • Snowmen Nose: OR3, OR2, GY2
  • Snowmen Arms: EB4, EB2
  • Black: IG9, IG7, IG5
  • Purple: LV3, LV2, LV1
  • Pink: MG5, MG3, MG1

Once I was done coloring, I cut the images with the Happy Snowmen coordinating dies.

I used the Dotted Slimline Set 2 to create the card base. I die cut some light blue and white cardstock and I glued them together.

For the sentiment I used stamps from the Poinsettia Border stamp set and I also added a few Iridescent Snowflakes to decorate the card.

Lastly, I used a Snow Marker to add some puffy snow under the snowmen and the tree. This is a seemingly small detail, but I promise that it really brings the whole card to another level!
