Scrapbook.com Exclusives Review: Stamps, Ink, Stencil Bushes and More + Sale

Hi everyone, today I am back with a review post in which I will tell you a little bit about some Scrapbook.com exclusive products that I had the chance to play with. I have shared two different cards where I used these products, you can have a look at them here and here.

First of all, I want to talk to you about the Scrapbook.com DIY Coupons and You and Me Quotes and Sayings Exclusive Stamp sets

The DIY Coupons is a fun set that allows you to create your own personalized coupons. These are  just perfect when you want to make a gift to someone that is not a physical object. It could be a dinner out, a trip, a night out at the movies, you name it! Whatever it is, with these stamps you can deliver these gifts in a fun and personalized way.
The set comes with 7 different stamps, which produce a nice an crisp impression, and they feel like they are made of good quality photopolymer.
You can see how I used this set to create a fun congratulations card by visiting this post

The You and Me Quotes and Sayings is a large 8×6 inches stamp set, which features 23 different stamps: two little hearts and 21 different sentiments. The sentiments are good for a variety of occasions: you can find love sentiments, friendship sentiments…some are funny and ironic, while others are romantic and inspirational. There is a great range of sizes and font styles, so this is a good sentiment set to have in your stash. Again, the impression is crisp, and the material feels good quality. You see the card peeking out from under the set? Here you can read more about how I created it.

Next up I tried the Scrapbook.com Black Premium Hybrid Ink Pad. The hybrid formulation of this ink is such that it can be used with alcohol markers and with water based media. You need to wait for it to dry in order to take advantage of its waterproof property, and then you can watercolor directly on top.
In the picture above you can see how I tested the ink. I stamped one of the smaller images in the DIY Coupons set with the Scrapbook.com Black Premium Hybrid Ink Pad and gave the ink a bit of time to dry. I then scribbled over the image with Spectrum Noir markers, which are alcohol based, and with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, which are water based. As an additional test I also stamped the image on some watercolor cardstock, colored over it with one of my Zig markers, and then blended it out with some water.
As you can see from the picture, there was no bleeding and the stamped image remained crisp. I think that it is really great to have one ink that works with multiple mediums!

Another great product I had the pleasure to try are the Stencil Blending Brushes. I was really curious to test them out, and I have to say that I really like them! They come in packs of three, feel sturdy but are not too heavy. The bristles are compact yet soft, and do not come off the brushes when you use them. They yield a really soft and delicate blend, and are great to add colors to your panels or to use with stencils. This is definitely a product I want more of!

I also had the opportunity to try out the Flat Card Fronts and the Card Bases
The Flat Card Fronts are sheets of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock cut at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
The Card Bases are pre-scored and pre-cut card bases, also made from Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. When folded they measure the standard 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
These are really convenient to have, the cardstock is a nice, bright white, and it is great for stamping and to use with alcohol markers. I used to make my own card bases and card fronts, but having them ready is really a time saver! Plus, if you are a beginner cardmaker and do not have a paper trimmer or a score board, these are great to get you started!

Finally, I tried the Scrapbook.com 0.25″ double sided adhesive. It is a nice sticky adhesive, the backing comes off easily and you can tear it with your hands pretty effortlessly. There is a wide ranges of sizes available on the Scrapbook.com store, including double sided adhesive sheets, which are really handy, especially when you are dealing with intricate die cuts or die cut sentiments.
And this concludes my review. Do let me know if you found it interesting, and if it gave you a bit more of an insight on these Scrapbook.com Exclusive products. I definitely had fun testing them out, and found some new favorites!
