Hi everyone! I hope you haven’t gotten tired of shimmer and shine on my blog, as today I have another card featuring some hot foiling for you! This one features Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Dies from the Spellbinders Sparking Christmas and Yana’s Christmas Foiled Basics collection!
Today’s card is a monochromatic winter card, which somehow reminds me about another Christmas card that I recently shared here on my blog.
I started by foiling the front panel using the Snowflake Sparkle Background [SPL | SBC] and silver foil. This Glimmer Hot Foil Plate is wonderful and you can use it to create stunning foiled cards in a very quick way! Once I was done foiling, I used the Circle Around Dies to cut a circle out of the panel.
I used again silver foil and one of the sentiments in the Yana’s Christmas Sentiments set [SPL | SBC]. I chose the one that reads Season’s Greetings, so that this can work as a Christmas as well as a Winter card. I then die cut the sentiment with the coordinating dies.
Next, I created some vellum poinsettias using dies in the Glimmer Poisettia Set [SPL | SBC]. I layered the die cuts for added dimension and glued some Silver Foil Pearls in the center of each flower.
To finish off the card, I adhered everything to an A2 white card base, raising the foiled panel and the sentiment over some foam tape for some extra interest.
