Watercolor Fall Scene plus FREE SHIPPING Code!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend and you had the chance to get crafty on World Cardmaking Day!

My sweet friend Mona Toth and I decided to celebrate with a joint Instagram live! It was super fun and today I wanted to share with you the card I made, in case you missed the live stream!

The card features the new, wonderful release by Colorado Craft Company. I am obsessed with these beautiful illustrations by Anita Jeram – I shared a card and a video on Saturday, but I still wanted to get some play time with these stamps!

This time around I used the Kittens & Mittens stamp set and I went for a watercolor fall scene. I stamped the image on some watercolor cardstock and colored it with my Karin Brushmarker Pro.

To embrace the fall vibes, I stamped the image with a brown ink. I chose Scrapbook.com Leather Hybrid Ink, which is the perfect shade of brown for fall cards!

Once I was done coloring the images, I quickly painted in the background with Distress Oxides. I used Stormy Sky for the sky and Crushed Olive and Forest Moss for the grass.

I added just a bit of detail to my kraft card base with the Stripes and Dots Background and then finished everything off with Bakers Twine.

And that’s my card for today! I really hope you liked it and, if you haven’t already, make sure to check out this post for a video featuring the 3C release and a giveaway, too!

Last but not least, Colorado Craft Company has kindly offered a free shipping code for my blog’s readers! YAY
You can check out the new release here (there are some bundles you can order that will save you money, too!) or click on the image above.
The code is FREESHIPPING and it is valid until midnight pacific time on October 7th!

Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!

The items marked with a * were sent to me for free for designing purposes. When possible, affiliated links are used at no cost to you. Thank you for your support! πŸ’–

There is something so poignant about these drawings. They transport me back to my childhood, and make me feel so happy and content! I am so excited that Colorado Crafts will be carrying Anita Jeram’s gorgeous stamps for all of us to use.

Thanks for Sharing Your Thoughts! :)
