Lollipop Card feat Impronte d’Autore Wizard of Oz Stamps

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a step by step tutorial, showing how to create a lollipop card using Impronte d’Autore’s Plissè and their Wizard of Oz stamps! This is such a fun and easy card to make – I had a blast and I will definitely be making more of these!

I started by choosing some Bazzil cardstock in two different colors and by trimming two strips, one measuring 30,5 x 2 cm and the other 30,5 x 5 cm.

I then created score lines on both strips. The score lines are every 1 cm apart from one another. I folded the cardstock along the score lines and created an accordion-type effect.

At this point we need to glue the ends of the strips together, thus obtaining a ring. Make sure to also have a die cut circle ready for the next step.

Create a wreath by pressing the center of the ring against your desk. Glue it to the die cut circle you had prepared. Hold the wreath down until the glue is completely dry.

At this point I realized that my cardstock was not long enough for the larger wreath to be able close. For this reason I cut some more Bazzil cardstock in the same color. I cut a strip measuring about 15 x 5cm, I scored it every 1 cm, folded it and glued it to the first one.

I created the second wreath, following the steps described above.

I then created some decorations using some circle dies and the Flags dies by Impronte d’Autore.

The image I chose for my Lollipop card is this beautiful fairy from the stamp set La magia e’ credere (also available in English as an unmounted rubber stamp). I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using  Stella, the stamp platform by Impronte d’Autore, and I colored it with Nuvo markers.
Once I was done coloring, I die cut the image with the coordinating dies. I also used Crystal Stickles to add some glitter to the fairy’s dress.

I then glued all the elements of my lollipop card together and mounted them on paper straw that I had at home.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that it inspired you to create a lollipop card! It was the first time for ma and I was really surprised at how easy it is! If you haven’t yet, you need to try it!
