Hi everyone! Today I am back with a long due video review of the Pink and Main Ergonomic Blending Brushes! Pink and Main recently released a mini version of these fun brushes – they kindly sent me some to try out and I decided I would make a video about them!
In the video I share my first impressions about these brushes and I also show how I used them to create this sweet card. Make sure to check out the end of this post if you want to watch it!
Card Background
Other than the brushes, I used the super fun Succulents stamp set and the beautiful Rose Garden Layering Stencil. I decided to go for a soft color palette on my background, so I blended the roses with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide and the leaves with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide.
Images
To color my images, I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. The video shares most of the coloring process, and here is the list of markers that I used
- Green 1: DG4, DG2, DG1
- Green 2: CG4, CG2, CG1
- Green 3: YG3, YG2, YG1
- Pink: AP4, AP1
- Fox: TN8, BO4, BO1. BG3, BG1
- Bear: RB4, RB2, RB1. TN3, FS6
- Cat: MB4, MB2, MB1. FS8, MB4, FS9
- Soil: EB8, TN9, TN5, TN3
Once I was done coloring, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.
sentiment and finishing touches
I stamped the sentiment with Pebble ink by Spectrum Noir and created my card base. For that, I blended some watercolor cardstock with Distress Oxide in Tattered Rose and the Rose Garden Layering Stencil.
I added some finishing touches with Glossy Accents and glued some Gold Fever Confetti for some extra sparkle
Video
As I mentioned, there is a video for you, where I share the step by step process for this card as well as some info and my first impressions about the Pink and Main Ergonomic Blending Brushes!
