I guess at this point you are all pretty aware of the new Lawn Fawn Release! I was so excited about all the new amazing products, and of course I had to snatch a few! I am hoping to be able to share plenty of card throughout fall and winter, and today I am starting with an interactive card featuring the Let’s Go Nuts stamp set!
I also had the chance to try out the new Distress Oxide in Crackling Campfire [SBC | RNG EH] and let me tell you…you need it! 😉
It is 100 times more beautiful in real life! So velvety and warm, I LOVE it!

Background
For the background of my card, I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop Dies. This is really a beautiful die and I can already see myself using it a ton!
I used the die to die cut some watercolor cardstock and added shading to the panel using Distress Inks and Tea Dye.
For the blue scalloped rectangle I used the Flippin Awesome Add On die. I added color to it using Broken China Distress Oxide and then spritzed it with some water for an extra fun effect.
Interactive Element
The moving part of this card was created using the Lawn Fawn Flippin Awesome dies. I used them to die cut some more Spectrum Noir watercolor cardstock and I did some more ink blending with Distress Oxides.
I used Crackling Campfire for the base and the larger squares. For the small stitched squares and the stitched rectangle I used Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey and Crushed Olive.

Strangely enough, for this card today I used one stamp set only! 😀 It is the adorable Let’s Go Nuts by Lawn Fawn and for my coloring I played again with my Triblend markers (here is a review of these really cool markers).
I am going to list all the markers I used below, for your reference.
- Red Brown Blend (RB4, RB2, RB1)
- Burnt Orange Blend (BO1, BO2, BO4)
- Gold Yellow Blend (GY2, GY3, GY5)
- Yellow Green Blend (YG3, YG2, YG1)
- Ice Gray Blend (IG2, IG4, IG5)
- Blue Turquoise Blend (BT3, BT4, BT5)
- Tan Blend (TN1, TN2, TN4)
- Tan Shade (TN6, TN8, TN9)
Sentiment And Finishing Touches
For the sentiment, I used the banner die in the Flippin Awesome set. I blended the die cut with Wild Honey and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide and stamped the greeting with Vintage Photo Archival Ink.
As a last touch, I glued one of the squirrels near the sentiment banner, and that finished off my card.
