MUST SEE TIP for foiling with NO MACHINE! | Christmas Card with Lawn Fawn Stamps

Hi everyone! Today I am back to share with you a super fun way to add foil to your die cut sentiments – the cool thing about this tip is that it requires no heat, hence no machine!

Foiling Hack!

The main ingredient, so to say, is the Scrapbook.com Smart Paper Crafting Glue ( SBC ). This glue dries tacky, which means it creates the perfect base for foiling!

If you are interested, I have a quick tip video on my channel, showing this fun hack!

For my card today I used Spellbinders Prism Foil ( SBC ) and the Scrapbook.com Merry Christmas Sentiments Dies ( SBC ). Look how pretty it turned out! I love it!

I’d say it is time to create a card for it! πŸ˜‰

Card Background

For the background of the card I did some very simple masked ink blending with Distress Oxides. It turns out that the Scrapbook.com Mint Tape ( SBC ) was the perfect width for those blank stripes on the corners of my card!

I used Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides and created my lovely background.

Images

The images I used today are part of the Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas ( SBC ) and Thanks a Latte ( SBC ) stamp sets. I stamped them with Scrapbook.com Black Premium Hybrid Ink ( SBC ) and colored them with Illustrator markers.

Aren’t they the cutest? After I was done coloring I die cut them with the Sweet Christmas ( SBC ) and Thanks a Latte Dies ( SBC ).

Finishing Touches

To finish off the card I added details with a white gel pen. I really love the little dots on the background panel – they make this card even happier! Don’t you think? πŸ™‚

I also used a black fineliner to draw in a frame and to create a drop shadow around that super pretty sentiment!

And that’s my card for today! If you liked it and enjoyed this post, here’s one featuring another super easy way to add foil to your cards!
As always, thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
